Coaching for a turning point.

01The work

When the thing that defined you no longer fits

For years, something did the introducing for you. The title, the company, the thing you built, or a relationship, a role at home, a way of living you had stopped questioning: they answered the question of who you were before it was asked. Then it shifts. The chapter closes, by your choice or someone else's, or it simply stops fitting the person you are becoming. Either way the question comes back, unanswered.

What follows is rarely a crisis. It is quieter than that: a low hum of disorientation. The old certainties thin out. Money starts to mean something different. The structure that held your days, and more quietly your sense of yourself, begins to give way.

People come here in that interval. Not to be fixed, and not to be sold a five-year plan. To think clearly, out loud, with someone who won't flinch at the honest version of the answer.

02How I work

An honest conversation, with a method behind it

You know your own life from the inside. My work is to ask the questions you haven't stopped to ask, listen for what's underneath, and say it back until it's clear. This is coaching in the sense the International Coaching Federation gives it: not consulting, not therapy, but a craft of listening and good questions.

Working through real change is not the work of a single afternoon. We meet for about ninety minutes, every week or two, just the two of us; you decide what we work on, and when something is worth pulling at, we follow the thread. Things come loose when they're ready to, not before. I bring attention and honesty; the timing is yours.

The interval between chapters is not empty. It is where the next thing is decided.
03Who this is for

You might recognise yourself here

You have done well by most measures, and lately the doing has stopped explaining itself. Something that fit no longer does: a role, a relationship, a way of living you had stopped questioning. The next version isn't obvious, and pretending otherwise has begun to cost you.

You are not in crisis. You are between things, and you would rather understand the gap than rush past it. What you want is room to think it through, with someone who won't hand you a template.

What it asks is real: a conversation every week or two, across a few months, and a financial commitment to match. Less a purchase than a stretch of time set aside to think, deliberately, and not alone.

04Ways to work together

First a conversation, then the work

Both follow the thread. Sessions generally run an hour and a half.

First Thread
the shorter work
On request 1 month · 3 sessions
Three sessions across a month, with room between each to let the work settle.
The Working Line
the longer work
On request 3 months · 6 sessions
Six sessions across three months, with more time and room to go deeper on one or more things that matter.

The engagement is paid in monthly instalments. Everything begins with a first conversation, and there's no commitment until we both feel the fit is right.

05About Stijn
Stijn Van Haute
Stijn Van Haute · Antwerp

In my twenties I burned out. It taught me something I have held onto ever since: a life is meant to be lived, not just performed.

I spent a little over a decade in fintech, consulting, and product: building things and running teams. But I did most of it remotely, on my own terms, so I could keep seeing the world; I spend my winters in Cape Town.

I have always been a curious person, drawn to growth in all its forms, and over time I have turned that curiosity inward: questioning myself often, and trying to live a little more consciously than I did the year before.

At heart I am a people person, and what I love most is walking with someone through their own growth. Coaching is how I do that now. I am completing an ICF-accredited coaching programme, and I work in English and Dutch. No two people arrive with the same story.
